For spring break, JAME invited children from its flagship program, accompanied by their volunteers or parents, to a morning of reading led by our literacy facilitators, as well as a craft activity hosted by the creators of the bilingual magazine Grilled Cheese Mag.

As 2026 begins, partners, volunteers, families, the Board of Directors, and our team are coming together to envision the future of JAME. What kind of society do we want to help build for future generations? What changes do we need to make to get there? What steps will help us move in the right direction—the one chosen by our community? These are just a few of the thought-provoking questions guiding our discussions. We’ll keep you posted!

"Let's Read!" Fundraising Campaign

Description
This year, through the “On donne à lire!” fundraising campaign, you have the opportunity to make a donation to JAME in the name of someone you’d like to recognize this holiday season. The icing on the cake: that person will receive an original postcard by Jacques Goldstyn, either digitally or in print.
How will your money be used? For every $20 donation, JAME will purchase a new book for a child in our flagship program or for one of their siblings. We hope to raise enough donations to buy 300 books. Can we count on your support? If so, click the link!
