Parent Workshops

Are you a school or community organization?

In your community, do many parents speak two or more languages at home?

You could offer a workshop to your community to:

  • address parents' concerns about their children's language learning;
  • support them in developing their children’s multilingual literacy;
  • introduce them to a variety of books that support this development;
  • encourage communication among parents.

The content and duration (between 1 and 2 hours) of the workshop will be tailored to the needs and availability of your community. The workshop can be conducted in French and English.

The joy of reading in multiple languages

The goal of this workshop is to support immigrant families living in multilingual environments and to help them foster multiliteracies in their children.

Help your child learn languages with books

Workshop intended for English-language schools.

The goal of the workshop is to help parents navigate the reality of living in a multilingual household and to help them make reading fun for their children.
